1999 Yukon Visitor Exit Survey
From June to September of 1999 a major survey of visitors was undertaken by the Yukon Bureau of Statistics on behalf of the Yukon Government's Department of Tourism. This survey, referred to as the Visitor Exit Survey (VES), sought answers from visitors on a wide variety of questions relating to their Yukon visit. A comparable survey was run in 1987 and 1994.
The VES was administered to visitors as they left the Yukon for the last time. A brief report on the preliminary results of the VES was released in the fall of 2000. Preliminary results from the Regional Visitor Exit Survey were also released in the fall of 2000. Below you will find the preliminary results of the 1999 VES along with other recent reports:
